 History

July 2021

The concept of Gowns and Gardens   was born in the summer of 2021, when Kenisa Nunley wanted to have a birthday party that she could wear a gown to and enjoy nature. Out of that want the idea of Gowns and Gardens was birth. The birthday party was titled "Gowns and Gardens" and was held in the back yard of the historic Gamble House in Pasadena. It drew much excitement and attention from those who heard about it and those who saw it, passing by stopping to take pictures. The domain was purchased, but since covid continued to play out, the idea of a full production was put on hold.
