Assistant Coordinator

Gowns and gardens is focused on doing encouraging women’s events and community events is in immediate need of a very part time Assistant Coordinator (2-4 hours a week) to start to assist with operational aspects of event production. We are a new business and am offering basic pay; but if you want to gain experience, and work with quality people for a good cause who believes in old school values and in people being clear, honest, direct, keeping their word, and that there is such a thing call absolute truth you have come to the right place. We believe everyone has a voice and a purpose and we want yours to be able to have the freedom to learn and grow here.

Task include but are not limited to:

Coordinating logistics for events, managing vendors and event staff, negotiating rates for items to be purchase and rented for events, potentially light assisting in managing social media, assist in communications for responding to customer questions. Picking up items for the event. Updating online communication, creating/ collating omnisend newsletter.

This position gets to work directly with the owner.

  • Potential ability to be the event supervisor for staff and other event needs as a part of the event team

  • Previous event experience highly desired

  • Has a car

 

Do not have to have but is a plus:

  • Basic Graphic design skills and /or has an eye for design

  • Social media know how

  • Ability Edit or proof reading

You can work from home, in person meeting to take place once a week or as needed.

Sponsorship Sales Manager

Gowns and gardens is focused on doing encouraging women’s events and community events is in immediate need of a Sponsorship Sales Manager. This is a commission bass position.

We are looking for someone who knows how to build relationships with local business and business owners. Large accounts may be gone after as well.  You can determine your schedule; this position is a bout getting the job done with integrity and ethically.  Advertising, event marketing, are a plus. Strong sales understanding is a must. This is a position for someone who likes to close! 25% commission on all sponsorships, brought in and closed by you, $50 for all in kind sponsors and the same percentage applies for all renewals. If you like to own what you do this is the position for you. Must have good presentation be well spoken and be comfortable working in conservative environments.  There is a lot of room for growth in this position. This position gets to work directly with the owner.
