IDENTITY SHIFTING

ree

Has this not been a full year or what?! Political changes, fires, Tsunamis, social, and personal shifts taking place and we are only half way through the year. Between the change of the year and now all of the events that have transpired there is a sense of rebirth, a reformation of what was and what is. That which had been going in a particular direction has to be reformed and adjusted. Now I know some of you do not like change so you may already be cringing…hang in there. For others you may feel the excitement of change and the opportunities that are just around the corner. This is an exciting time to be alive! The opportunities are everywhere and you just have to decide what you want, and what is the identity that will define you for 2025.

You may have set goals, made a new 5-year plan, or trying to figure out how you will make it through some of the hits that have already been thrown your way by life. Whatever your situation, this is a great time to shift your identity into the person you know you aspire to be, the person that is going to go after all  life has to offer and overcome the challenges that may come up. I can hear the cheers of those who have made their decisions to step out as their best self and the laughter of those who say if only it was that easy. Oh, but my friend it is. It is as easy as changing your thoughts, words, and actions to that which align with your vision. Draw from your foundation, morals, values, and dreams and let your thoughts, and words ground you. Stay focused on all that is good and lovely and let your words create your destiny. Solidify the shift with a celebration for what is to come and what you are about to create.

The celebration does not have to be anything big; but take a moment to celebrate in advance for what you know is to come yourself, say thank you to God for all the opportunities to come and live each day with a deep sense of gratitude. Identity shifting, although some may make it sound really hard, I encourage you to grab onto these points, implement them and watch yourself and your sphere of influence grow. May you have a blessed and happy year full of joy and peace!
