New and Fun!

We have had a strong start to this year with three beautiful events (see past events here), and there is still so much more to come. May you be inspired by what we are doing here at Gowns and Gardens to go out and live your dream, build beautiful friendships, and have a lot of fun in the process. Life often comes at one full force, so grab it with both hands and build what you can out of what it throws you.

2026 First Three Events Of The Year

Gaining the best out of life is about the little things; the simple things like gratitude and thanksgiving. And let’s face it; it does not hurt to add a little pizzazz and make this journey elegant and pretty along the way.

May this be a year to remember – a year to look back on and say "that was a great year…I am so glad I accomplished… I learned… I overcame…"

So I offer you this challenge for the next 30 days: Do something fun and new every day for the next 30 days. The fun, new thing can be as big or small as you want. It could be going for a walk in a new and inspiring neighborhood, going to a new caffe, reading a book you have not read – the sky is the limit! It just has to be something new and fun!

As adults we often do not take enough time for ourselves and this exercise is a great way to stir up hope, help one to dream, and gain a fresh prospective. It is simple yet it is powerful.

I remember when I met a successful person and they gave me this challenge. I thought it was ridiculous. I thought “they don’t know me”, “what is this going to do? I have real problems; I need real solutions”. But then I thought about it, and I thought about what they had accomplished, and that they do not owe me anything. They did not even need to take the time to give this advice, and yet they did. So, I did it and I am so happy that I did! The prospective I gained and the re-energization that came from that challenge was amazing!

I give you this challenge and may you birth new dreams, vision and understanding for your next steps!
