It is the middle of the year, a time of year that can make one feel overwhelmed, hyper reflective, and at times discouraged depending on how you may be evaluating your future and your past. There are so many opportunities for great things to happen and yet so much to do. So many chances to have fun and spend time with friends and family and yet so much to accomplish. Yes, it is summer, the cusp of the end of something and the beginning of something new.

Transitions and transformations are often coupled by turbulence, upheaval, and the unknown... embrace it. These are the waters of change, the gateways to something great, the agitation that breaks off the old. Embrace it and dive into this journey that has a beautiful ending if you just keep going.
Alas, change is one of those many things we cannot avoid. It is going to happen at some point, it is just a matter of when. So how do we get through this turbulence? Do we just muscle our way through on our own ability? Is there a vehicle that aids in this process? I would say that one of the major vehicles that can help get you through is strategy.

Strategy is a great neutralizer, if it is coupled with speed, consistency / discipline, and stick-to-itiveness. Now that is a team that is hard to beat. So, have some fun, implement some strategy. Ask God to give you time to get everything done and enjoy walking in purpose knowing that you have a plan, it is being carried out and that you are walking into a glorious future! Have a blessed summer.
Cheers To The New!
5 TIPS FOR CREATING GREAT STRATEGIES

1. Vision
Define your vision, determine what you need the result to look like.

2. Define Your Targets
What do you need the goal to accomplish, knowing the most basic result needed may allow you to substitute for a better alternative.

3. Set Goals
Set your goals. It should be specific, measurable, achievable, and timely.

4. Apply the Strategy
It can only work if you use it. Get it started and get it done!

5. Be Agile
Be ready to adjust. When theory meets reality, things do not always work as planned, but it is not the end. Be flexible and look at other options that will help you reach your target. You may not be able to get rubber bands; but some yarn or rope may work just as well.
